General Dental Care
We are your general dental specialist and perform all aspects of dentistry. However, there are some cases that deserve specialty attention and we know when to refer you to the appropriate specialist. From routine cleanings and tooth colored composite resin fillings we can take care of most of your dental needs in our office.
Orthodontics
Lehigh Dental uses in office clear aligners from DentsplySirona SureSmile to keep your smile straight and beautiful. Straightening crowded teeth allows you to keep your teeth clean much easier therefore improving overall oral health.
Oral Surgery
Teeth that cannot be restored and kept in the mouth can be removed at Lehigh Dental. Preservation of the jawbone involves placement of a bone graft to maintain the height and width of the jaw after the tooth is removed.
Root Canals
A root canal (endodontic therapy) removes disease nerve tissue from inside the tooth allowing it to stay in your mouth instead of having to extract it. After alleviating the pain and completing the root canal we will place a crown on the tooth to prevent it from fracturing in the future.
Dental Implants
A dental implant is a threaded titanium post that replaces a tooth root in the jawbone. Once placed, it is given three months for the bone to harden around the implant so that we can adequately replace the missing teeth on the new solid implant foundation.
Dental Prosthetics
Replacement of missing teeth can be done in several ways including dental implants, fixed bridge work, partial dentures, and implant retained full dentures. We perform all of those services at Lehigh Dental.
Dental Crowns
Broken or badly decayed teeth or root canal treated teeth need to be crowned or capped to improve the long-term outcome of your teeth. Our office utilizes dental laboratories that use zirconia crowns made in the United States of America. We do not outsource lab work out of the country.
Oral Cancer Screening
Our doctors are trained to carefully examine and recognize unusual changes in soft tissue that could be early forms of oral cancer. We perform a thorough oral cancer screening at each hygiene visit. Any suspicious or irregular areas will be discussed with you and appropriate treatment performed.
